A piece of land... a calling from deep within the heart... the birthplace of Potentia.

When Beth and Randy embarked on the renovation of Snowy Owl Farm in the verdant Virginia countryside, they could not have guessed that it would also become the creative catalyst for all things Potentia. The beauty of the land, the inspiration of the animals, the peace and connection to self all served to fuel the rise of the concept which became the brand.

A home place for Potentia... the farm silo studio serves as 'command central' for all video, audio and creative content that is the life of our brand. Sited next to the circa 1820 pole barn, the silo enjoys a 360 degree, bird’s eye view of the farm and the mountains beyond.

Together with their children, Beth and Randy raise and breed a herd of Suri Alpacas, known for the beauty of their silken fleece and the power of their silent, calming presence. These animals are poster children for sustainability, with their light footprint upon the land and their long, fleece producing lives. The alpaca fleece produced on the farm will provide raw material for many Potentia products.
